"A WEE BIT ABOUT BUTTONS"
Buttons
is a full-time professional clown, known for her bubbly personality
and motivational entertainment. She brings smiles and laughter to children of all ages. Buttons specializes in Balloon Art, Face Painting, Tricks, Skits and just plain Clownin' Around. She is also known as one of the areas finest face painters, learning from some of the best in the United States and Canada.
Buttons has developed her skills through frequent attendance of clown conventions, seminars and workshops throughout the East Coast. Clowning is NOT all about face painting and balloon art; it is about entertainment.
In September 2001, 2002 and 2005, Buttons achieved 3rd place for the Auguste Clown competition during "Clownfest", Seaside Heights, New Jersey. In 2004, she was awarded a scholarship for continuing education from Clowns of America International. In 2006, Buttons received (1) First Place and (2) Third Place awards for her balloon art during "Clown Jubilee", Charleston, West Virginia.
Due to our continuing education classes, we can honestly say that... "The parties of yesterday are not the parties of tomorrow, we are constantly growing to provide our BEST entertainment ever!"
"I don't want to be called 'the greatest' or 'one of the greatest'; let the other guys claim to be the best. I just want to be known as a clown, because that is the height of my profession. It means you can do everything- sing, dance and above all. make people laugh." -Red Skelton
THE CLOWN'S PRAYER As I stumble through this life, help me create more laughter than tears, dispense more happiness than gloom, spread more cheer than despair. Never let me become so indifferent
that I will fail to see the wonder in the eyes of a child or the twinkle in the eyes of the aged. Never let me forget that my total effort is to cheer people, make them happy, and forget at least momentarily, all the unpleasantness in their lives. In my final moment, Lord, may I hear you whisper, "When you made My people smile, you made Me smile."
